Name of Youth Council: Planet Youth’s Own Youth Council

Structure of Youth Council: We have a president, a vice president a secretary; other members are youth from the center, approximately 15 outgoing members.

Mission Statement/Purpose of Youth Council: fundraise for activities and raise awareness to our center

Activities: Fundraise for activities like going to movies, bowling, and pictures and scrap booking.

Fundraisers: Fried Bread and T-shirt Sales, Bottle Drive

Events: PAYC day, family day, Children’s Christmas Party

Tips: We are currently fundraising by selling Planet Youth T-shirts that we are selling for $20.00

Goals: To get as many kids involved and fundraising

Additional Information:  Always building and trying to find new ways to strengthen our Youth Council and working to get aboriginal youth to get involved.
