January BCAAFC Quarterly, 2006
Ten youth attended the BCAAFC quarterly meeting in January. Youth issues were a major focus of the meeting, with the upcoming trip to Guatemala and the youth conference forefront on everyone’s minds. The launch of the Drumbeat Aboriginal Youth newsletter was also a huge success, and a presentation was given by Drumbeat editor Michele Morfitt to showcase this project to the board of directors. The youth had a good time having dinner together and playing games at Rachel Mason (PAYC Coordinator)’s house. PAYC welcomed a few new youth to PAYC, and many of the usual faces were also back again.
