Site Visits
Since the fall of 2004, the PAYC Coordinator has been making visits to Friendship Centre youth councils all over BC. The aims of these visits are to:
a. Establish a connection between BCAAFC, PAYC and local youth councils
b. Gather information on the best practices and needs of each youth council
c. Share ideas from other friendship centre youth councils
d. Brainstorm on how youth councils can meet their goals!
At these visits, Rachel, the PAYC Coordinator, conducts a one hour workshop using movement, games, and discussion to achieve these aims. These visits are the first step in what PAYC hopes will be an ongoing process of engaging with local youth councils.
