Hi! My name is Maria Bell. I am 21 years old and a member of the Tsimshian Nation. I joined PAYC in 2002, and I am now serving my second term on the PAYC Executive Committee. Being a part of PAYC has really helped me to develop my confidence and public speaking skills, which serve me well in my current position as Program Director for the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society. My goal is to one day become a dental hygienist and work in the field of public health to educate people about preventative care. I also hope to travel and learn about different cultures and places.
